The 2027 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is expected to operate as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine with dual electric motors and a 17-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This advanced propulsion system is anticipated to produce a combined 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, delivering an EPA-estimated 49 MPGe along with an all-electric driving range of about 21 to 22 miles. When the battery charge depletes, the system seamlessly transitions into a standard hybrid mode to offer an estimated total driving range of roughly 370 miles.
